A hidden gem! New to the area and a huge upgrade to the previous business. Family owned and great service. Try it out!! You won't be disappointed! They also have a salsa night. Big place, can accommodate large crowds. Will be back with friends!
Wanted to see if there was any good place to eat in Kent and I was graving Mexican food so decided to go to this place that a family friend recommended. The food was good everything we order was good. For a a Canadian looking for Mexican food I highly recommend this place and the price isn’t too bad for four people. I had the taco everything on it was cooked perfectly
We come here for breakfast and we love Chilaquiles Verdes with carne asada!! The huevos con Chorizo is a big favorite as well- For dessert we get the bread pudding it is delicious Highly recommend this family restaurant.
I drove by this place like a month ago, and I have been wanting to try it. My brother and I made it in today! The menu has a lot of great items! I got the chilaquiles with half and half green and red sauce. ( I couldn't choose, so our server suggested half and half) it was so good! And my bro got the western burger. It was cooked perfectly, and that thick bacon was nice and crispy. We also were given honey for the sweet potato fries. So good! Our server was super nice and attentive. We both liked the atmosphere of the place. We're definitely going to come back to try some other dishes. I'm a huge fan of supporting local when it's good!
If you’re within 30 mins of here, or even further, definitely check this place out. My husband and I decided to drive up from Auburn. We were shocked to see they weren’t very busy based on the reviews. We were immediately escorted to a table we got to choose. Our server was quick to get us menus, gave us just the right amount of time to figure out our drink choices, and got our food order as soon as we got our drinks. The app came out within 10 mins, the cheese is soooo good! And I’m picky on my melted cheese. Our main dishes came out about 10 mins after our app. My husband got the Birria and I got the Birria Dip. The Birria broth is so good! I was glad my husband had some cuz I needed more! We decided to try the Flan.. so worth it!! Good service, great food! We’ll be back.
Amazingggggg wow. I used to come to this spot when it was a bar and had some good times I never imagined it being revamped into what it is today! Family friendly and beautiful inside the atmosphere is amazing the food comes out picture perfect and taste even better Highly recommend!!!
Came here at 12:45 on a Sunday. Not super busy. We sat ourselves and our waitress came over pretty quickly. Breakfast stopped at 1 and we were able to order. We all liked our food but the chiliaquiles were by far the best. The fries were also so delicious, they weren't super oily and they were the right amount of salty. I didn't like my steak but that's only because I'm picky and I should have ordered the Ribeye, I never really like sirloin it's too tough and not enough fat but the cook was correct. Overall we will come back and that's saying a lot since we're 35 minutes away.
The NEW Local is a truly family-friendly restaurant that's even open for BREAKFAST! I had an omelet with grilled vegetables and plenty of grilled potatoes. I asked for some hot salsa, and it was both delicious and very spicy. My boyfriend had fried eggs with chorizo and potatoes. We also enjoyed a couple of great Bloody Marys. Yum!! Our server Veronica was attentive and made us feel welcome. Overall, we loved our first visit. It won't be our last! Added photos from another visit for lunch! We keep coming back. Today, we watched football and ate at the bar. Yummy!
